the Launceston Players present

Directed by Jeff Hockley

Playwright Joe Di Pietro
composer Jimmy Roberts

Sixty roles, delightful scenes and wonderful songs all come together in the Launceston Players first production for 2005, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change! Directed by Jeff Hockley, this witty musical revue is a battle of the hetrosexuals, celebrating the modern day suburban mating game.

The cast of six – Patsy Marshall, Amanda Dawes, Natasha McCulloch, Adam Graziano, Dean Cocker and Mark Horner – are thoroughly enjoying the challenge of developing the many roles in the play which was originally commissioned by the Elvis Presley Estate.

Playwright Joe Di Pietro with composer Jimmy Roberts rose to the challenge to create the longest running show off Broadway, now in its tenth year and Northern Tasmanians are in for a real treat when the show opens at the Earl Arts Centre, July 20 to July 24. The end result will have the audiences filling the theatre with laughter as the cast explore the joys of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives and in laws!
